Welcome to the brand new version of Elizabeth Banks Online – just in time to celebrate the release of “The Uninvited”! I wanted to create something bright for the website – to help balance out Elizabeth’s latest role. The images used were from her shoot in “Women’s Health” magazine – which will be added to our gallery soon!

I just wanted to post real quick about what’s going on with updates at this website. First thing, I want to make it clear that I am not abandoning this website at all! I currently picked up a second job during the holiday season, so my time is spent working 14+ hours on most days. When I am off work, I will continue to work on updates for this website and the other websites I run. I will try to update at least 2 times a month, but please don’t hold me to that. Normal updating should resume sometime in January 2009, when my second job will end. Thank you for the understanding and I hope you all have a great holiday season!

This post is off topic, but since I am a huge fan of Christina Applegate, I decided this is important. Christina has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer, and she will make a full recovery, but we decided to create a star in her honor – so please read below and consider donating if you or someone you know has been affected by cancer.

Today, April 30 Elizabeth Banks Online is voted as the Celebrity Site of the Day. Thanks to the lovely folks at the CSOTD website for selecting this website, it means a lot.

First, I wanted to thank everyone for the nice comments about the site’s opening, it means a lot since I really want to make a great resource for Elizabeth fans. So thanks alot! :)

Welcome to the grand opening of Elizabeth Banks Online! I’ve been working hard on the creation of this website for almost 2 months, so I hope the work paid off. :) The site is about 80% complete at the moment – most of the content is finished and ready to be read, the gallery has over 3,700 images in it and we have a fan forum up and running. I’m working on the media archive (videos, icons, etc.) and will be getting that up and running soon.

This past weekend, Meet Bill was released in limited theaters. Elizabeth co-stars with Aaron Eckhart and Jessica Alba as Jess, Bill’s wife who is cheating on him. Make sure to check out the film’s official site and go see the movie if it’s playing near you. ;)
